Einfach bei einem der vielen Orient- Reiseanbieter uns eine Tour zusammenstellen k\u00f6nnen, uns und in einer Gruppe durch das \u00a0Land f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen. Aber letztendlich \u00a0haben wir nun alles selbst geplant. Flug, Mietwagen, Hotels, Restaurants und Ausfl\u00fcge. Wir werden sehen, wie alles klappt.<\/p><p>Erstmal geht es mit eurowings nach Z\u00fcrich und dann sp\u00e4tabends weiter Richtung Muscat. Da der Flug \u00fcber Nacht geht, haben wir uns einen Businessflug geg\u00f6nnt, der \u00fcber die Gesellschaft &#8222;Edelweiss&#8220; f\u00fcr einen attraktiven Preis zu haben war. Und das hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Ein unglaublich freundlicher Service, sehr gutes Essen und ich konnte das erste Mal bei einem Flug wirklich schlafen. So erreichten wir die Hauptstadt des Omans angenehm class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Am Flughafen erledigt: Geld abheben ( gestaltete sich als kompliziert), SIM Karte kaufen , Mietwagen abholen. kurze Fahrt zum Hotel, einchecken. Das Mysk al mous Hotel liegt in einem ganz neu gebauten Stadtviertel, direkt an einer Marina. Es ist nichts besonderes , bietet aber ein gutes Preis-Leistungs Verh\u00e4ltnis. Am Nachmittag werden wir zu einer Sunset tour auf \u00a0einem traditionellen Holzschiff (Dhow) abgeholt. (gebucht \u00fcber viator.com). An sich ist es eine wirklich sch\u00f6ne Tour, auf der man einen guten Eindruck von der Stadt und den schroffen Bergen dahinter bekommt. Nur leider ist es heute bew\u00f6lkt und recht windig, sodass ich nach 2 Stunden heftigem Geschaukel froh bin, wieder festen Boden unter den F\u00fcssen zu haben. Den Tag lassen wir bei einem hervorragenden Essen im Bukhara Restaurant des Kempinski Hotels Dazu haben wir \u00a0\u00fcber <strong>Discovery mazoon Tours Oman<\/strong> einen Fahrer angeheuert, der uns die sch\u00f6nsten Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten zeigt. Dazu geh\u00f6rt an erster Stelle die wundersch\u00f6ne <strong>Sultan Qaboos Moschee<\/strong>. Es ist die einzige in Muscat, in die auch Nicht Moslems hinein d\u00fcrfen. Und so haben wir die M\u00f6glichkeit, gr\u00f6sseres Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr diesen Glauben zu entwickeln und verlassen tief beeindruckt diesen besonderen Mutrah<\/li><li>Souq von Mutrah<\/li><li>Bait al Zubair Museum<\/li><li>Sultanspalast<\/li><\/ul><p>Auf dem Fischmarkt sind die meisten Fische bereits verkauft, doch im Souq bekommen wir die volle Aufmerksamkeit der H\u00e4ndler entgegengebracht, die uns ihr breites Angebot an omanischen Waren schmackhaft machen. T\u00fccher, Gew\u00fcrze, Weihrauch und vieles mehr. Die verwinkelten Gassen sind noch recht leer und die Besucher sind haupts\u00e4chlich Einheimische und kaum Touristen.<\/p><p>Auch das Museum haben wir fast f\u00fcr uns und so \u00a0k\u00f6nnen wir in Ruhe die vielen Alltagsgegenst\u00e4nde, Schmuck und Kleidung betrachten.\u00a0<\/p><p>Der Sultanspalast ist nur von aussen zu besichtigen, doch die ungew\u00f6hnliche Architektur und die Lage Stop: Misfat al Abriyyin:<\/strong><\/p><p>Es gilt als das sch\u00f6nste Dorf in den Bergen und deshalb werden wir hier auch in einem 600 Jahre alten Haus \u00fcbernachten, dem <strong>Al Misfah Hospitatality Inn.<\/strong> Nach ein bisschen Sucherei und einer herzlichen Begr\u00fc\u00dfung durch den Besitzer beziehen wir unser rustikales Zimmer. F\u00fcr eine Nacht halte ich es hier aus, es ist sehr authentisch, aber auch sehr dunkel und ein bisschen muffig. Doch die Aussicht und die unglaubliche Freundlichkeit der Menschen ist es wert. Absolut lohnenswert und nicht sehr beschwerlich ist die Wanderung durch das Dorf und an den fajals entlang bis zur &#8220; des Omans, dem Jebel Shams.<\/strong><\/p><p>Auf dem Weg liegt <strong>Bahla,<\/strong> wo wir das Fort und die Moschee besichtigen wollen. An beiden Orten sind von keine bis sehr wenige Touristen, obwohl beides sehr sehenswert ist. Besonders das Fort beeindruckt durch seine Gr\u00f6sse und uns f\u00fcr das Sama Heritage al Khuteim entschieden. (GPS:23.1938301,57.2022834)Es hat nur wenige einfache, sehr geschmackvolle Zimmer aber, punktet mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf das Bergmassiv. Von hier aus startet der sehr beliebte Balcony way, ein alter Eselsweg, der wundersch\u00f6ne Ausblicke auf den Canyon erm\u00f6glicht. Man kann ihn so weit man m\u00f6chte gehen, da es die gleiche Strecke wieder zur\u00fcck geht. Doch eine gewisse Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit sollte man Parkplatz abstellen k\u00f6nnen, um das <strong>Fort<\/strong> und den <strong>Souq<\/strong> zu besichtigen. Es ist etwas un\u00fcbersichtlich, den Eingang zum Fort zu finden, doch nachdem wir die 3 Rial Eintrittsgeld pro Person bezahlt haben, bekommen wir umfangreiche Informationen \u00fcber die Funktion und das fr\u00fchere Leben dieser Festung. Im Rahmen der aufwendigen Restaurierung vor ein paar Jahren wurden die R\u00e4umen entsprechend eingerichtet und eine Ausstellung zeigt die geschichtlichen Hintergr\u00fcnde. Das Fort wirkt dadurch allerdings nicht so authentisch wie das in Bahla. Trotzdem sollte man sich viel Zeit nehmen, auch das kleine Cafe im Innenhof ist einen Besuch wert. Als wir das Fort verlassen, ist der danebenliegende Souq leider bereits geschlossen. Es ist etwas schade, denn da auch dieser restauriert worden ist, macht er eine sehr einladenden Und meine Erwartungen werden mehr als \u00fcbertroffen, denn das <strong>Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort\u00a0<\/strong>ist eins der sch\u00f6nsten Hotels, die ich je besucht habe. einer Stadt am Rand der Wahiba Sands W\u00fcste, denn heute werden wir eine Nacht in der W\u00fcste verbringen. Es gibt mittlerweile einige camps, die die ehemaligen Beduinen f\u00fcr die Touristen errichtet haben. Wir entschieden uns f\u00fcr das <strong>Oman private Desert camps<\/strong>, da es nur aus 10 Zelten besteht, die auf Stelzen und weit auseinander stehen. Der Abend in der W\u00fcste ist gef\u00fcllt mit interessanten Gespr\u00e4chen mit den anderen G\u00e4sten am Lagerfeuer, gegrilltem Kamelfleisch und dem albernen Rumschwenken des neuerworbenen Selfiesticks beim Versuch, das perfekte Sonnenuntergangsbild zu schiessen. Auch der obligatorische Kamelritt am n\u00e4chsten Morgen darf nicht Auf den meisten Touren wird als \u00dcbernachtungsort Ras al Jinz gew\u00e4hlt, da man nur dort die vom Aussterben bedrohten <strong>Meeresschildkr\u00f6ten<\/strong> in der Nacht beobachten darf. Wir steuern das Informationszentrum am Nchmittag im dazugeh\u00f6rigen Naturreservat an und besuchen die Austellung. Gut, dass wir uns gegen einen l\u00e4ngeren Aufenthalt hier entschieden haben. Das ganze Informationszentrum macht einen abweisenden Eindruck und die Exponate -obwohl sie sogar auch auf deutsch beschriftet sind, bringen entt\u00e4uschend wenig Informationen \u00fcber diese faszinierenden und bedrohten Tiere. Ich w\u00fcnschte, die Str\u00e4nde w\u00fcrden ganz gesperrt werden und die Schildkr\u00f6ten in Ruhe gelassen, denn die gef\u00fchrten Wanderungen, wo an die 100 Menschen ihre Kameras auf die eiablegenden Tiere halten, um auf social media ein spektakul\u00e4res Video posten zu k\u00f6nnen, ist glaub ich, nicht der richtige Weg. Das gebuchte einfache <strong>Turtle Beach Resort<\/strong>\u00a0in ras al Hadd \u00fcberrascht mit einem feinen Sandstrand und wir geniessen nach der langen Fahrt ein Bad im Parkplatz am <strong>Wadi Shab<\/strong>. Mit Rucksack und einigen Wasserflaschen geht es mit einem kleinen Boot r\u00fcber zum Wanderweg ( 1 Rial\/Pers.). Frohen Mutes geht es den schattigen Weg Richtung der Wasserstelle,sogenannten Pool, in der man baden kann. Der Pfad wird immer unwegsamer, steiler und felsiger und die Sonne brennt langsam ziemlich heftig.Nachdem wir nach 45 Minuten immer noch keine Badestelle gefunden haben, gebe ich ersch\u00f6pft auf. Kurz die Beine ins k\u00fchle Wasser halten, dann drehen wir um. Auch wenn es bestimmt ein tolles Erlebnis gewesen w\u00e4re, in dem Wasserlauf bis zur Grotte zu schwimmen, ist dies wohl doch eher etwas f\u00fcr junge Menschen. Trotzdem ist die uns umgebende Natur \u00e4usserst beeindruckend und die Strapazen haben sich durchaus gewaschen und gereinigt werden. Ja, tats\u00e4chlich, denn wer in Muscat mit einem dreckigen Auto herumf\u00e4hrt, kann eine Strafe zahlen m\u00fcssen. Doch dadurch gibt es in der Hauptstadt viele kleine Werkst\u00e4tten, die dies f\u00fcr einen kleinen Betrag in Windeseile erledigen. Und somit kommen wir noch einmal in den Genuss, zu beobachten, wie wichtig auch den Omanis ihre Autos sind, denn es wird mit einem Eifer geputzt und gewienert, dass man sich w\u00fcnscht, einen solchen Service auch in unserer Heimat mal zu erleben.\u00a0<\/p><p>Die Zeit bis zum Abflug nach Salalah verbringen wir auf Angenehmste in der <strong>Lounge von Oman Air<\/strong> , die ich sehr empfehlen kann. nahe des Flughafens und wechseln gegen Mittag in das <strong>Al baleed Resort by Anantara.<\/strong> Wir haben eine Poolvilla gebucht und verbringen die n\u00e4chsten Tage sehr entspannt am Strand, am Pool unserer Villa oder in einer exzellenten Restaurant. Das Hotel \u00fcbertrifft \u00a0meine Erwartungen und es wird eine sehr erholsame Woche bei angenehmen 28 Grad und konstant blauem Himmel. \u00a0Eine ausf\u00fchrliche Beschreibung des Resort findet data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Der Oman ist ein Land, welches ich definitiv als Reiseziel im Winter empfehlen kann. Im S\u00fcden des Landes ist die Temperatur mit ca 28 Grad angenehm, das Wetter ist konstant, die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist nicht sehr hoch. Der Flug ist nicht so lang, die Zeitumstellung betr\u00e4gt 3 Stunden. Massentourismus findet hier in keinster Weise statt, die Resort am Meer sind weit auseinander und der Strand recht leer. Die Hotelpreise sind allerdings auch eher hochpreisig, der Oman ist generell kein g\u00fcnstiges Reiseland. Trotzdem w\u00fcrde ich unbedingt empfehlen, nicht nur die Sonne und das Meer zu geniessen, sondern dieses landschaftlich und kulturell faszinierende Land auf einer Rundreise zu entdecken. Man kann dies sehr gut individuell durchf\u00fchren. Die Infrastruktur ist verl\u00e4sslich, die Strassen sind gut ausgebaut und die Menschen sprechen \u00fcberall englisch und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Ich habe absolut spektakul\u00e4re Natur gesehen, der den \u00a0hot Spots der USA in nichts nachsteht. Besser noch-hier hatten wir die Ausblicke auf die grandiose Berglandschaft meistens fast f\u00fcr uns alleine und mussten sie nicht mit hunderten Besuchern teilen. Generell haben wir die meisten Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten fast f\u00fcr uns gehabt, was den Genuss nat\u00fcrlich gr\u00f6sser macht. \u00a0F\u00fcr jeden Grad der Abenteuerlust findet sich in diesem Land etwas. Von einfachen Spazierg\u00e4ngen bis zu Klettern an Steilw\u00e4nden, von Zelten am Felsklippenrand bis zum Luxusresort, vom gem\u00fctlichen Fahren auf ausgebauten Strassen bis zu Befahren von extrem engen und steilen &#8222;dirt roads&#8220; ist alles m\u00f6glich. Doch genauso wie die Natur hat mich im Oman diese v\u00f6llig andere Lebensweise und Kultur fasziniert. Man sieht hier Menschen, die sehr stolz auf ihre Geschichte sind, diese gerne ihren G\u00e4sten nahebringen, und die sehr gut die moderne Entwicklung ihres Landes und ihre Traditionen in Einklang bringen.
